With 20 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, much of my career was spent in Louisville, KY, where I worked with diverse populations, including special needs individuals and geriatrics in settings like in-home care, skilled care, and assisted living. I’ve also had the privilege of working in rehab environments as a rehab tech, and in addition to healthcare, I’ve gained valuable experience in construction and welding.
Now, I’m combining my deep passion for helping others with my love for massage therapy. In April 2023, I graduated from Blue Sky School of Professional Massage and Therapeutic Bodywork, specializing in Medical Massage. My mission is to stay informed and continue my education so I can offer you the best integrated approach to health and wellness.
I’m excited to help you relax and address any areas of discomfort or pain you may be experiencing. Whether you need stress relief, muscle relaxation, or targeted therapeutic care, I’m here to support you on your journey to feeling your best.

Kristi, whose background is registered nursing, is now a licensed massage therapist. Massage allows her to take a proactive approach to long term pain management. When you complain of pain she understands.
Her intent is to help people get their life back. She focuses on identifying the cause of pain so that symptoms disappear. Her inspiration for getting into medical/clinical massage happened after receiving a massage which alleviated her years of back pain. This success was achieved through the treatment of her ribs, resulted in amazing relief. She is also able to have formed bowel movements for the first time in her life, as scar tissue was released after multiple bowel and pelvic cavity surgeries.

As a licensed massage therapist, I bring an integrative approach to every session, working to understand the root causes of movement restrictions and discomfort. I completed my clinical massage training at Blue Sky School of Massage, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding how the body’s soft tissues work together to support movement and comfort.
Currently, I’m expanding my expertise as a Resident Therapist at Body Innervation Massage, through their comprehensive mentorship program. Here, I’m developing my skills in truly listening to clients – learning to interpret and understand the specific language they use to describe their discomfort, which helps create more effective, targeted sessions.
My background in senior care, combined with my own journey of becoming more active through hiking, paddle boarding, and jiu-jitsu, has deepened my understanding of how important comfortable movement is for enjoying daily life. This personal growth journey influences my approach to creating purposeful, assessment-based sessions that help clients maintain their active lifestyles.
Through mindful communication and detailed assessments, each session becomes a collaborative journey toward helping clients move with greater ease and confidence in their daily activities.

My passion is to positively impact the lives of each person by helping them to decrease their
pain and regain/retain their independence with normal activities of daily living such as grooming and
dressing.
Doing so, it is my hope to assist with individuals goals concentrating on pain relief, improving lymphatic system which aids
in removal of toxins, decrease swelling and building the bodies immune function. Building my skills, it is my hope to better help the
body to heal itself through the release of trapped nerves, musculoskeletal tension/restrictions and aiding in scar tissue release. As each area progresses, the
overall health and well-being of each individual is enhanced.
As a nurse and massage therapist, I have seen medications given for temporarily relief of pain symptoms. This only masks the pain and does not address the the root cause of their pain.
Since becoming a Massage Therapist in 2016, and over the years, I have enjoyed continuing my
education by learning new techniques. This year my Residency with Body Innervation Massage will
help me get to the answer of, “Why is the body feeling that pain” and “what is the potential cause of that pain”. I will do this though
assessments and be able to bring the body relief, aid in self-healing while applying the many
different layers of techniques and better critical thinking.
During my private time, I enjoy walking in the woods, photographing nature and wildlife, as well as,
watching and collecting eggs from my chickens. Traveling, hunting and volunteering
for various organizations offering assistance to those in need also gives me great joy.
